Welcome

This portfolio highlights the work completed during my internship with the Missouri Association of Nurse Anesthetists (MOANA). During the past four months, I have created many social media flyers, social media videos, and one PowerPoint presentation for board member, Susan Bullington. I have improved my writing and editing skills while learning many new design skills. I hope you enjoy my work!

About Me

My name is Gabrielle Burns

I  will graduate from Missouri State University on May 8th, 2026, with a Bachelor's of English in Professional Writing. I look forward to beginning a career and chasing after my goals. The past four months, I have been completing my internship with the Missouri Association of Nurse Anaesthetists (MOANA), where I have strengthened my skills as a writer and document producer, and had the opportunity to connect with some brilliant people. I hope you enjoy viewing some of the work that I completed during this time.

Social Media Videos

I attended trips with MOANA to capture content for videos, highlighting the importance of the organization and the quality of work that they do. The videos encourage members to get involved and capture the heart of our events, the CRNAs who attend them. Reels have been proven to be our most effective social media posting method; therefore, I try to incorporate them into our social media whenever possible.

PowerPoint Presentation for Susan Bullington

Board member, Susan Bullington reached out to me to create a presentation for the fall meeting. She sent over the content and the order in which she wanted it presented. I edited the content and organized it to my liking before working in PowerPoint. I designed the presentation to be simple but engaging. I utilized the elements and shape features to organize information whenever possible. Susan and I collaborated on the editing process, and she is satisfied with the results.
